Howard Stern kicked off his massive five-year SiriusXM radio show contract renewal this week by telling listeners the Republican party has likely lost his vote for good by supporting President Trump’s efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

According to Stern, voters need to look no further that Georgia to see where the GOP went too far.

“If the Republicans want to know why they lost Georgia, because Georgia was always pretty much a Republican state, these Republicans have gotten so weird it seems like they want to have like a Hitler,” Stern said Wednesday. “They want to have a win even if it means the end of our Democracy. It’s so scary.”

President Trump was recorded over the weekend trying to convince a Georgia election official to “find” enough votes to overturn the results of that state’s presidential vote, where a Democrat won at the top of the ticket for only the second time in 40 years. The Democrats are also poised to win the senate, thanks to Tuesday’s special election where the Republicans lost one seat in Georgia and are in danger of losing the other.

“Who wants to win in America where we don’t have free elections?” Stern asked. “Why would you want a guy who wants to win by pressuring someone to change the vote. Don’t you love America?”

The president has claimed without evidence that election fraud was the reason he lost the presidency.

“I was never a Democrat,” Stern said. “I voted for tons of Republicans. But I really don’t think I could ever, ever vomit up a vote for a Republican again. I don’t think so.”

Trump loyalists calling to overturn the election results are protesting in D.C. Wednesday, where President-elect Biden’s win is set to be confirmed by Congress. Several Republican lawmakers plan to object to that process, despite there being no proof the president’s claims of election fraud are based in reality.

“Why are you guys so anxious to give up America?” Stern wondered. “And you want Trump to be your new Fuhrer? To be your supreme commander and do away with the vote? You should never win an election again.”
