Jun Kwang-ryul to visit Iraq
Actor Jun Kwang-ryul is making his second visit to Iraq with a full support from the First Lady.
On Jun Kwang-ryul will be leaving to Iraq for volunteer activities with 'Nanoom Medical Volunteer Team'.
Jun Kwang-ryul already made his first visit in last June, and this one will be his second one. Back then, his old drama 'Huh Jun' grew largely popular in Iraq, and the First Lady of Iraq sent a personal invitation. Thus, Jun Kwang-ryul could get a permit from the government to visit Iraq, which is still tourism-prohibited region.
This visit could also be made possible, because the First Lady of Iraq guaranteed full support and security to Jun Kwang-ryul and the volunteer group again.
The group was organized by Jun Kwang-ryul's suggestion, and they will be looking after poor citizens in the Slemania region.
Jun Kwang-ryul said, "We decided to go there to pay back Iraq people's love. I also missed the children's innocent eyes."
On the other hand, Jun Kwang-ryul and the group will be staying in Iraq for 4 days, and return to Korea on 31st.
